April Update

Well our Biggest news for April was on Monday April 6th, Cody and I found out that we were expecting our 3rd baby:) We were/are so excited about adding to the family and we could not believe that we are going to be a family of 5 at the ages of 26:) Kind of a shocker when you put it like that, but we wanted kiddos young and close together so we are on the right track or as Cody says the accelerated program:) We sound like overachievers than:) Either way, April was a memorable month and here are some of the other happenings that month:

Cohen wanted to go to the Monster truck races and Cody had to work on the rental and it wasn't exactly Miayla's and my cup of tea so we recruited Uella and Papa to take him. He had the BEST time and I am so glad and grateful that mom took lots of pictures (these are 5 of the 30+) :)

Cody and I decided to do a half marathon together. It was called the "Labor of Love" race and we thought it was appropriate for two ppl in love:) It was more so my idea, and the only way I knew cody would do it if it was in an ideal location, so we went to VEGAS! However, the pregnancy kind of set me behind on training and nausea so I was only able to do the 6 miler, but Cody did his first half marathon. It was great to watch him train for it and to cross the finish line. AND it SNOWED during the race. YES, in the desert, we thought it would be nice and warm. No! It was cold and super windy, but we survived...another labor of love:)

The one to the left is a picture of the hill we climed during the race, it was taken from the car on the way there when we both were like, we should of just taken a vacation together and left any endurance events back home. The one of Cody and I is before the race started hanging out in a truck to get out of the wind. It was SO COLD!!

This is somewhere on the course around mile 3.
