wow

Has it really been since May since I posted last? I wish I could mentally post each day! wouldn't that be nice, to think about it and the heavens open, the computers hum, and wahlaw, a blog! I mean I talk to myself all the time about what I would blog about. I even take pictures daily and think, "gosh" I can't wait to post about this, but clearly intentions and actions are two separate things! I am not even going to sit here and promise to blog soon. Lord only know if I will, for He is the only one that knows what He has in store for me. So from now on, I am just gonna see what happens. Through multiple events of the past week and much sleep deprivation, I have decided to take life down a notch. Maybe even two notches. We shall see where the road goes from here.

For an update though, we are all still here. Cody is working like crazy and hunting every chance he gets. Cohen is still struggling with life in a walking boot and Miayla is still a princess. Sweet Baby Sawyer is growing faster than ever and it just breaks my heart. With all of them time has gone so fast. Cohen has lost his toddler look and says things that make you step back and question who was that little baby inside of you just 6 years ago?

I don't get on the computer much to be quite honest. It is in a really inconvenient spot in our house and quite frankly, I don't really like the whole, zoned in on everybody all the time feel that you can get from the Internet. Maybe that is why I don't blog all the time or lately at all. who knows really. I think some of has to do with the fact that I am just enjoying the chaos too much to take myself away from it and sit down, away from everybody, and blog to I don't even know who. Life is about the little occurrences. Sure the bigs ones are fun too, but the every days are what we remember, at least I do. And I pray that the kids and Cody do too.

UPDATE: February Sawyer's 2 months old

Sawyer Louis is growing up! At two months he is very handsome and very happy. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. It is amazing how three kiddos, spawned from the same people, can all have their unique characteristics, yet all have a huge heart when it comes to loving others. As Sawyer grows, we are excited to see just who he will become. With his super light complexion, and his relaxed disposition...I bet he is like his daddy)

Update: January-Cold weather fun

In January we also saw more snow and we took the kiddos ice skating for the first time. Sawyer and I relaxed and took pictures...luckily, Uncle "nony" and "Carda" were there to assist..thank the LORD!

UPDATE: January-the farmer takes a wife:)

On January 22, 2010, Cody and I became the very proud owners of 270 acres of land! Right now there is just wheat on it, but maybe one day, we will build a big 'ol house out there. Cody had been dreaming of this day for a very long time, and I am sooooooo happy i was able to be part of it. That now brings our "empire" to owning our house, two rental properties, and a farm... not bad for two 26 yr olds:)

He is so happy!

at the closing!

Snow Day!!!

Sweet Dreams

A few posts back, I mentioned Miayla being obsessed with the Twilight series like me...I caught her one night asleep in bed with the book, which she obviously cannot read:) Too funny

Christmas Eve

After Christmas Eve Mass, we headed to Norwich to spend Christmas Eve with Cody's family. It is always crazy fun when you get 10 grandkids together . It reminds me of the movies where everyone is running around.

Christmas Eve Day

The kiddos could hardly wait for Christmas. When Cohen woke up I jokingly told him to stop smiling...he smooshed his lips together really hard and tried and then busted out laughing saying "I just can't! I am soooo excited." It was the longest day ever according to Miayla.

I caught the kiddos kissing on Sawyer

Cheesers

Ashley and Chris came and met Sawyer, and brought the kiddos presents too (they are super sweet like that)

Both kiddos wanted to add these things to their Christmas list but I informed them that the sleigh was already packed!

18th Annual Cookie Day

Ever since I was 7 years old, my siblings my mom and her sisters (Patty, Robi, Anita) and their kids (Chris, Nae, Amanda, Josh, and Levi) have gotten together the saturday before Christmas for "COOKIE DAY". We make every kind of cookie you can think of and lots of other tasty treats. It is really neat that even though we are grown up now, we still carry on the tradition, and for my sister and me, we get to now share it with our kiddos. The decorating of the sugar cookies is the most fun and this year the boys (Bomber, T, and Josh) took the prize for most creative with Christmas shaped cookies turned into things such as a sombrero, a fish, someone falling into a pond, baby Jesus, .... just to name a few:) I LOVE my family and spending time with them!
