The birth of a baby is unbelievable. If you don't know if God exists, wait until you have a baby and you will see how much of a gift life is. I love having babies. I love the feeling you get when you find out you are pregnant, I love hearing the heartbeat the first time and everytime after, I love labor and delivery, but most of all, I love taking my child to God and having them Baptized. There is such joy and peace in my heart on that day. To be able to present back to God, what He gave as a present to you is such a great feeling. Having my children know and love God is so important to me, it is hard to put into words the true satisfaction I get out of Baptism. My ear to ear smile probably gives you an idea:) Sawyer was baptized Dec 13th @ Church of the Resurrection.

Breakfast with Santa
Miayla's first "dance recital" was December 5th at the ymca's Breakfast with Santa....it could of gone better...but either way, she made a cute little reindeer and Cohen got to eat a ton of pancakes so everyone walked away happy!!
you can tell who she loves more....
and it's not me!
doing her "rainbow"....by herself

its a girl.....just kidding!
Sooo, if you remember the story of the Tank, (under archives..Cody's new baby) you know that we had the name of the baby put on the tank. Well, as luck would have it....the SONOGRAM WAS WRONG!!! It said that we were having a girl and we had a boy! Therefore, the name of our baby girl is on the bike...not Sawyers. The artist who custom painted the bike said she can fix it...thank you Baby Jesus. I guess there is a reason we have never found out what we were having...b/c in the end, it really doesn't matter, you're grateful either way!
IT'S A BOY!!!
With great joy and blessed hearts, we welcomed SAWYER LOUIS AYRES into the world on December 1st, 2009 @ 11:47 am. He weighed 8lbs 2 ozs and was 20 inches long. Everything went fantastic, except for the kiddos not being able to visit b/c of H1N1:( My heart broke when I saw the sign on the doors at St. Joe saying that no kiddos were allowed.....I even asked Cody if we should leave!!!! I was so devestated for Cohen and Miayla as we had planned for them to be the FIRST ones to meet the new baby. After a minor meltdown, and scaring the nurses with my crying before I was even admitted, I managed to pull it together and deliver the most precious little boy...again:) And the kiddos are ecstatic they got their "little brother."
All snug in my bed, with visions of babies dancing in my head:)

Happy Birthday to ME!!
I really could not have had a better birthday than I did this year!! Cohen was off from school, it was the day before TURKEY DAY (my favorite holiday), the kiddos and I had a delicious "sweet snack" (that's what Miayla calls desserts) date, Cody got me Red Rock for dinner, and we heard the baby's heartbeat!!! The only thing that could of topped it off would of been having a baby, but hey, you don't get everything you wish for:) It was perfect!!
Oh, except for the MINOR crisis that involved me taking the kiddos to Sugar Sisters to get my favorite Strawberry cupcake, only for them to only have ONE strawberry cupcake. my PRINCESS went straight to the counter and ordered it before I could try to convince her to try another delicious dessert. A bit of my heart broke as I watched her eat all of it, never questioning herself or even offering me a taste. Cohen offered me a taste of his mint chocolate cupcake, but Miayla, not so much.... the audacity! It was MY birthday! Ah, I guess this is where the unconditional love comes in. HAHAHA Looking back though, if it was me and my mom, I would of done the same:)
my wedding cake cupcake:(
Such a tease
taste testing
Chow time
MMMmmmm:)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
With the impending birth of Baby #3, we decided to break the golden rule and decorate for Christmas BEFORE Turkey Day!! I didn't think I would have the energy and/or time to decorate afterwards and I wanted to make sure the kiddos were not jipped. Plus I was hoping that if the baby knew everything was ready to go, it would arrive earlier than expected...I know, wishful thinking!!!! It was a very relaxing family day...hence the pjs all day:)
Cohen, so Excited!!
